파일 저장(선택) 위치를 바꾸기 - PlacesBar Editor

컴퓨터를 사용을 하다가 파일을 선택해서 올리거나,
혹은 파일을 다운받을때 뜨는 팝업창을 보시면
왼쪽에 최근문서, 바탕화면, 내문서, 내컴퓨터 등이 기본값으로 정해져 있습니다.

뭐 저거면 충분하다라고 생각을 하신다면 별로 필요가 없지만,
자주 사용하는 폴더가 드라이브가 있으면 왼쪽의 기본값을 사용자가 원하는 프로그램으로 바꾸어주는 프로그램입니다.

사진을 특정 디렉토리에 보관을 원하시거나, 인터넷에 올리는 파일들이 특정 디렉토리나 드라이브에 있다면, 자주 사용하는 경로를 지정해 놓으면 아주 유용합니다.

처음에는 설치를 해보고 쓸때는 몰랐는데, 컴퓨터를 새로 설치를 하니 꼭 필요한 프로그램중에 하나가 되네요..

기부 프로그램으로 기부하기 전까지는 미등록 프로그램으로 표시되지만 사용상 제약은 없습니다.

위의 자료을 다운받아서 압축을 풀면 placesbar.msi라는 파일이 나오는데, 이 파일을 실행하면 설치가 되고, 프로그램에서 수정을 하시면 됩니다.
설정은 일반 선택창과 오피스 사용시 두가지가 있으니 따로 설정을 하시면 됩니다.

PlacesBar Editor is a software program that fills a need Microsoft left behind. Windows 2000/ME/XP/Vista and Office dialogs have 5 buttons on the left hand Outlook-style bar known as the PlacesBar. This utility allows you to change them to be any folder you want. Why Microsoft didn't include a utility like this we will never know....

If you would like to add your own folder to the Places Bar (seen in the File/Open and File/Save or SaveAs dialogs), you can do this by editing the Windows Registry or using PlacesBar Editor.
